SHIELD partnered with Lawrence O’ Brien Arts Centre to host a youth workshop with Eastern Owl on May 20, 2021. It was an awesome evening of drumming, singing, and sharing with local Labrador youth. SHIELD Coordinator Denise Cole also presented sexual health information. Eastern Owl is an award winning Indigenous women’s drum/music group from Newfoundland and we were so grateful to have them share with us!
