Every Thursday from December 2020 to February 2021, SHIELD held weekly jam sessions at the Lawrence O’Brien Arts Centre. Students aged 12 – 18 from the Lake Melville area were invited to come out and play music with their peers and fellow musicians in a safe space where all were included!
Students who attended played music on SHIELDs beautiful new instruments and some even brought their own! At the end of each session attendees left with music in their soul and a little bit of sexual health information in their pocket.
