Art Hives & heArt Circle – 2019

This 12 week program was run by Art Therapist Dawna Lee at the Labrador Friendship Centre in Goose Bay for youth ages 12-18. The Art Hives component included 6 evening sessions where adults could attend as long as a youth came with them. The concept was to create using everyday items and random art supplies. HeArt Circle consisted of 6 sessions that focused on concepts of art therapy where youth were able to grow and explore in a safe space with a professional art therapist discussing a variety of relationship connected topics including grief, mind/body connection, and exploring multiple selves. It was an amazing experience & we are very thankful to everyone who participated.
